A Neolithic polished flint axe. The axe is 152.2mm long, 62.6mm wide and 28mm thick. It weighs 338g. The axe is a tapering sub-rectangular shape and is ovoid in section with a flat facet at each end of the oval. The curved cutting edge is in good condition but there is some damage to the narrow end and a little of the end is missing. The damage at the haft end appears to be post depositional, but is not very recent, as the break is patinated. A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age period of 2500 - 1500 BC. The arrowhead is 27mm long and 25mm wide. It has pointed tangs and a fairly square end to the tang. It may be a Sutton type. It is invasively retouched and has been carefully worked. The flint is a light orangey grey colour and appears to be completely patinated. Barbed and tanged arrowheads are frequently found in graves containing Beaker vessels. The scraper is shaped like a backwards D and has semi-abrupt to abrupt retouch along the curved, convex, left hand side. There is some cortex on the dorsal face, but a removal from the right hand side interrupts the face. The ventral face has some patination. The scraper is 28.7mm long, 20.6mm wide and 7.4mm thick.

A flint flake with some abrupt and semi-abrupt retouch. The flake is 67.8mm long, 26.5mm wide and 8.7mm thick. There is abrupt retouch on the left side and some semi-abrupt retouch on the right. The distal end appears to have been worked slightly more invasively, possibly for use as a piercer. The flint is dark brown and opaque. This tool is difficult to date because it is not particularly diagnostic, but may be from the Mesolithic period.

It is unusually small at just 17.9mm long, 12.6mm wide and 6.5mm thick. The flint is high quality and is glossy and mid brown in colour.

A flint leaf shaped arrowhead which probably dates from the Early Neolithic period. The arrowhead is 31.7mm long, 19.3mm wide and 4.7mm thick. It is a kite-shaped form, meaning it is the same shape at both ends. It is invasively retouched on both faces to shape it precisely. This would have required great skill. Although this type of arrowhead is sometimes found in Late Neolithic and Bronze Age contexts, there is no evidence to suggest that they were used after the middle Neolithic (Butler 2005). The flint is completely patinated and is white and brown in colour.

A Neolithic flint combination tool, comprising of a scraper and a piercer. The tool is roughly "q" shaped. It is 39.3mm long, 18mm wide and 6.4mm thick. It has a bulb scar and the left hand edge is semi-abruptly retouched. The right hand edge is thick and unworked. It was probably snapped off here during working. At the distal end and piercer is formed at the right hand side. The dorsal face was worked from both the distal end and the right hand side to form a projecting point. The flint is slightly patinated and is mid grey with areas of white inclusions.
