Discoidal flint scraper. Sub circular in shape and made on a tertiary flake in pale grey flint. The dorsal face has several flaking scars from earlier working of the core from which the flake was struck. The ventral face has a low bulb of percussion with a large bulbar scar at the proximal end. At the proximal end is a narrow striking platform. On the dorsal face the left edge has a even row of short, scalar, semi-abrupt retouch, on the ventral face the right edge has very short, scalar semi-abrupt retouch. On the distal end and other edge of both faces there is more irregular sh…

Later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age flint knife or possibly scraper made on a secondary flake. It is oval in shape with a slight point at the distal end which is damaged from a modern chip. This modern chip shows the flint is dark grey although the surface is covered by a white patina. There is part of the bulb of percussion and ripples on the ventral face although the striking platform and edge of the bulb has been lost to retouch and chipping. The dorsal face is covered in cortex apart from the edge which has medium length semi-parallel and scalar retouch around both edges and ends …

Evidence of removal of parallel blades from a prepared platforms at one end and a few removals on the broken side. Second core weighs 36.71 grams. Incomplete with the upper part and platform missing to an old break. Dark grey flint with a pale grey surface, possibly some slight fire damage. Evidence of parallel blade and bladelet removal. Five pieces of retouched flint. All rough blade/flakes with small areas of retouch rather than formal 'tools'. 1. Large blade/flake struck off a prepared platform with a thick triangular section, thickening towards the distal end. Evidence of multiple previous removes on the dorsal face and cortext covers the distal end. Two small areas of very short, scalar retouch, one on each edge near the proximal end on the dorsal face. The two areas are not quite opposite each other. The flint is pale grey with darker areas. It weighs 19.88 grams. 2. Large blade/flake struck off a pr…

Medium brown flint with a paler and darker mottling. Second core weighs 35.8 grams. Large flake removed off a core, probably a core refreshment flake. Rounded water worn pebble, probably flint, from a beach or stream. The ends; in particular one flattened end, are very rough from hundreds of impacts. There are also some similarly damaged areas along parts of the edges and on the sides near the ends. It is 56.8 by 46.5 by 32.9mm, it weighs 123 grams. As a hammer stone it is hard to date and it could be Palaeolithic-Bronze Age in date; from other material on the site it is like to me Mesolithic to Bronze Age,

A complete Mesolithic or Neolithic knapped flint adze head. The adze is sub-rectangular in plan, with an almost triangular cross section which becomes more angular towards the butt. It has parallel sides, a rounded butt and straight blade. The blade is partly formed by a large tranchet flake which may be damage. The surface of the adze is covered in removals, with scars and some impact ripples present where flakes were removed from the surface; there may also be some more recent damage. The adze is 118.6mm long, 43mm wide and 26.7mm thick.

Tertiary flint flake struck off prepared platform, Prominent bulb of percussion on ventral face with bulb scars, prominent arises rom previous removals on dorsal face, damage to left proximal corner (on dorsal). The edges are damaged with modern, unpatinated chips down both sides, one unchipped area has abrupt chipping, usewear or later damage. The flint is mid grey with a white surface patina. It is 49.9mm long, 34.9mm wide and 10.2mm thick; it weighs 16.16 grams. Single pieces of worked flint are hard to date but the crudity suggest a later Neolithic to Iron Age date.

Created on a reworked primary flake with prominent bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face and a highly domed dorsal face with c.30% cortex remaining. The rest of the cortex has been removed by long, invasive, fairly shallow parallel removals. Around 95% of the edge is shorted, scallar, abrupt or semi-abrupt retouch and much usewear and chipping. It is made on a dark brown, fairly translucent flint. 41.9mm long, 32.1mm wide and 15.2mm thick; it weighs 22.85 grams.

A flint horseshoe type scraper of the Neolithic period (3500-2100 BC). The struck flake is sub-circular in shape and is a mottled grey to dark grey in colour. There is a significant bulb of percussion on the dorsal face with concoidal waves indicating the striking platform at the proximal end. The striking platform was on the original cortex of the flint. The distal end and left and right edges have semi-abrupt retouch. There is some damage to the retouched edge but the majority of removal is of the parallel or sub-parallel type.
