A possible end scraper of Iron Age date.
It is struck from a black glassy flint with grey chert patches. The ventral face has heavy patination, the dorsal face has no patination. It is slightly squat and D-shaped in section. There is heavy modern damage on the dorsal face but the distal end still has the remains of abrupt edge retouch. Circa 2% cortex remaining on the dorsal face.
This flint measures 46.31mm in length, 44.52mm in width, 15.49mm in thickness, 31.92g in weight.
