A central ridge is present on the dorsal (upper) face, with signs of retouch along the edges. The ventral (lower) face demonstrates signs of concoidal ripples. The bulb of percussion and striking platforms are missing. The blade is a light grey / dark beige colour, with little surface patination. The blade measures 52.84mm length, 18.04mm width, 4.93mm thick and weighs 4.9 grams.

A water-worn pebble of local flint. The object is oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The object appears to have been deliberately struck off the original pebble as can be seen from a small bulb of percussion with ripples under it. The rounded edge has fine damage around it as if it could have been used for cutting or scraping. The damage could have happened naturally however it is more likely that it occurred through use as the flint was deliberately struck off the pebble for use as an implement. The object is difficult to date as it doesn't fall easily into a particular …

Part of a flint implement- probably an unfinished Neolithic leaf shaped arrowhead. The object is almost tear-drop shaped in plan and is made from a light brown coloured flint. The point has broken off. It looks as though it may have been converted into a scraper later on, possibly pushing the date into the Bronze Age. The rounded end has been worked and retouching is visible.

Flint flake- possibly used as a type of saw/knife along one edge. It is a light orange/brown colour with white flecks. In plan it is sub-rectangular. In cross section it is triangular. The right hand side long edge has some wear along, most likely from use. One face has 3 flakes taken from it vertically giving the flake it's triangular cross section. It is very hard to date a single piece of flint on it's own but it is probably Neolithic/Bronze Age in date.

Dark grey flint tool, dating from the Neolithic- Bronze Age period. It is an irregular triangular shape in plan. It has been worked on most edges and is very worn on the 2 long sides particularly. With just a single piece of flint it is very hard to date to a specific period. They are useful to tell us there was prehistoric activity in that area but it cannot be narrowed down without more eveidence.

Part of a flint tool, possibly a knife or a projectile point. Light brown colour with some of the cortex still remaining. There have been flakes removed from both faces, although it is unclear if any retouch has taken place. It is possible it is an unfinished tool. The implement has a lenticular cross section. What remains is sub-circular in plan. The flat base is where it has broken. It is possible it has been struck by the plough whilst in the ground to break it.

A post-medieval/modern gun-flint from a flintlock musket. The flint is rectangular in plan and cross-section with sloping edges to give it a trapezoidal side view. The flint is mid- to light-grey in colour. The flintlock was introduced in the middle of the 16th century but it was not until the reign of William III that the flintlock became the main regulation firearm for the British Army.
