A flint Acheulian handaxe of sub-cordate form dating to the Lower-Middle Palaeolithic (c. 400,000 - c. 180,000 BC). The flint is blue-grey in colour with staining of a buff-cream hue. Removals cover the axe, particularly along the edges. These have been worn smooth by water action (see findspot land use). On one surface the axe has been subjected to fewer removals ensuring a more convex shape presumably to aid holding.

A complete late Neolithic (2500-2100) 'British Oblique' flint arrowhead, with the 'tail' extended to form a long tang. The flint is light brownish grey in colour with white to one side of the dorsal (upper) face. The dorsal face has been extensively worked. The ventral (lower) face is smooth with visible ripples. Retouching is visible along all the edges. The tip of the arrowhead is complete. The top of the 'tail' or tang measures 16.60 x 7.28mm.

A complete leaf-shaped flint arrowhead of Neolithic date (3500 BC – 2100 BC). Length 35.7mm, width 20.7mm and maximum thickness 3.8mm. Weight 2.61g. This arrowhead can be classified as a Green type 2B (Green 1984, 19-39). In plan, the arrowhead is pointed at one end and rounded at the opposite end. The sides are convex in plan. On each face it has been retouched by means of pressure flaking. However, the centre of each face not been retouched but is flat and has barely visible ripples. A complete flint pick of Late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date (c. 6500 BC – c. 2900 BC). Length 161.3mm, maximum width 61.3mm and maximum thickness 43.2mm. Weight 410.0g. This pick, like other similar implements found in the Isle of Wight, is characteristically hump-backed. In plan, from the centre, the width generally narrows towards the butt and widens towards the cutting edge. It is sub-triangular in cross-section forming three main faces. Early Neolithic laurel leaf flint, 58mm long, 40mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in good condition with a brown patina and weighs 22.5grams. The object is oval in form and has an angled lower edge. It has a rounded upper surface which has a nick out of it just to one side of centre. It has been finely worked all over its surface. in the centre of one side some cortex is still visible.

Bronze age flint scraper, 26mm long, 25mm wide and 8mm thick. The flint has a deep brown patina and weighs 6grams. Its upper surface is primary cortex and it is steeply worked around all of its edges, with fine re-touch on one side. It has a clear striking platform on its reverse.

Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, c. 2500 – 1500BC The arrowhead is complete, with a length of 29.77mm, a maximum width across the barbs of 24.03mm and has a weight of 2.7g. The arrowhead was made on a flake with minimal working to the ventral face. The flake has a convex profile with a thickness of 4.58mm. The dorsal face has been carefully worked by pressure flaking. The flint has patinated pale-grey.
