The object is oval in form and semi-circular in section. It has been finely worked along one long edge and some of its shorter side. It has a brown patina which is starting to re-corticate.

The scraper is a sub semi-circular shape in plan. The apex of the rounded edge has been retouched.
The flint is a mottled brown/beige colour with a thread of cortex remaining which is in the centre of the scraper and is visible on both faces.

Lithic scraper of early Bronze Age date: the classic invasively retouched thumbnail scraper. This scraper is not contemporary with the other lithic material recovered from this area. The scraper has covering removals across the entire surface of the dorsal face. The dark grey flint is unpatinated and has some post-depositional damage due to agricultural activity (chipped edges). The dimensions are 38.76mm long, 27.28mm wide, 6.74mm thick and it weighs 8.41 grams.

Small 'D' shaped flint scraper made from the end of an already patinated flint blade. Plano-convex, one face flat, the other bearing two parallel scars where blades were removed. Retouch around the curved edges, this is angled at around 45 degrees. The straight edge is break caused by snapping the end off a blade.
