A worked / knapped flint thumb nail scraper of later Neolithic date, circa 2700 - 2350 BC. The scraper is circular in plan and lentoid in cross section. The flint is heavily patinated in an even light grey / blue colour. Evidence of burning on all surfaces. No cortex is present indicating that the scraper was formed from the tertiary phase of working of the core. The dorsal and ventral faces of the scraper are uncertain. Flint thumb nail (horseshoe) scraper of later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2300 -1800BC). The scraper is formed from a mottled grey coloured piece of flint with a relatively thick white surface patina. It is created from a tertiary flake (due to the size of the scraper this may originally be debitage). The ventral face shows clear evidence of conchoidal fractures that ripple across the underside of the flake; the point of percussion and the bulb of percussion have both been removed. The scraper is a sub semi-circular shape in plan. The apex of the rounded edge has been retouched. The flint is a mottled brown/beige colour with a thread of cortex remaining which is in the centre of the scraper and is visible on both faces.

Small 'D' shaped flint scraper made from the end of an already patinated flint blade. Plano-convex, one face flat, the other bearing two parallel scars where blades were removed. Retouch around the curved edges, this is angled at around 45 degrees. The straight edge is break caused by snapping the end off a blade.
