A flint Mesolthic blade dating to the period c. 10,000 - 4001 BC. The blade is broadly triangular in cross-section, narrowing towards the distal end. The blade displays a small butt and diffuse bulb of percussion. The blade displays a small area of cortex one one lateral edge visible on both the dorsal and ventral surfaces indicating that it is a secondary flake. The dorsal surface displays five negative scars from flake removal divided by three arrises. A fragment of a flint Neolithic polished axe head broken and possibly untilised as a core or a scraper dating to the period c. 4000-2350 BC. The original axe head was a Clough type B lenticular or double-convex polished axe head. The break was then used as a striking platform for the removal of bladelets. Three arrises are visible on the dorsal side of the axe-head. Part of the original cutting edge is still visible along the distal edge, however, the majority of the distal edge has been invasively retouched, removing the cutting edge and squaring the chunk off.
