A Middle Palaeolithic Levallois flake The flake is struck with a hard hammer on a piece of pale grey flint that is developing a yellow patina over areas of its surface. The flake has a plain striking platform and there are traces of cortex surviving on the dorsal surface. The flake edges are abraded, rolled and slightly chipped.

A prehistoric flint knife, possibly dating from the Neolithic period c. 4000 – 2351 BC. The knife is incomplete, with a surviving length of 46.67mm, a maximum surviving width of 18.16, a maximum thickness of 4.86 mm. It has been worked with scalar retouch along the left dorsal margin, it has a stepped fracture resulting in the loss of most of the right margin. There is retouch on the remaining left ventral margin towards the knife tip. The flint is brown-grey in colour, unpatinated, and non-cortical.

Prehistoric notched flint flake The flake appears to be core rejuvenation flake and is cortical with remnants surviving near the distal end. Near the distal end on the opposite face is a retouched notch (13mm long). The flint is patinated pale grey and the notch appears to cut through the patination, implying secondary use of the flake.

Early Bronze Age flint arrowhead of Barbed and Tanged type (c. 2500 -1800BC) The arrowhead is near-complete (with a length of 28.6mm, a width across the barbs of 15.1mm, a maximum thickness of 3.4mm and a weight of 1.2g), missing the end of the tip and is made on a convex flake. The flint is non-cortical and has differential pale-grey patination. The dorsal surface has extensive pressure-flaking while the ventral surface has a retouched edge and is gently convex.

Early Bronze Age leaf-shaped, short tanged flint dagger of c. 2250 - 2000BC date The dagger is of 'Beaker Type' and is complete and comparatively small (with a length of 113.2mm, a maximum width of 40.2mm and a weight of 41.0g). The butt (with a length of 38mm) is of pointed V-shaped form. The form of the butt was likely to have been determined by a patch of rough cortex running along one edge of the butt and subsequently mirrored on the opposite side.
