A knapped flint or chert scraper. The flint or chert is a mid red/brown colour with red/beige patches. In plan it is a sub-drop shape. The dorsal face (the face with the most scars) has retouch around the side and lower edges, the base of the drop shape. The retouch is formed by long, narrow parallel negative scars. The angle of the retouch is c. 60 degrees. The ventral face (smooth face) has no retouch, but has bulbar scars as well as the bulb and concentric rings. A knapped secondary flint flake knapped from an opaque mid brown coloured flint. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, bulbar scars and concentric ripples. The dorsal surface has three deep scars forming a prominent ridge. This is probably a core rejuvenation flake. The flake weighs 3.39g and measures 34.3mm long, 16.64mm wide and 7.49mm thick. This is probably a core rejuvenation flake dating to the Neolithic to early Bronze Age (-2500 to -1500).

Mesolithic to Neolithic (-8300 to -2100) debitage: The knapped flint flake is probably either a core rejuvenation flake or sharpening flake. It is knapped from a mottled mid grey to light grey flint which has a waxy texture. One edge has re-touch on the dorsal surface which also has flake scars. The edges are otherwise unmodified. The ventral surface has a single scar, and recent damage. It weighs 7.25g and measures 35.94mm long, 28.09mm wide and 7.91mm thick. The flake probably dates to the Mesolithic to Neolithic period.
