A prehistoric flint end and side scraper. Length 33.2mm; width: 22.8mm; thickness: 8.2mm; mass: 7.2g. The scraper is formed on a light brown/off white coloured secondary flint flake, with approximately 20% cortex remaining on one side. There are multiple negative flake scars on the flatter side. The other face has semi-abrupt retouch covering the semi-circular distal end, between the cortex at one side, and the break at the other side. The scraper is likely to be prehistoric, probably dating from the mesolithic period (c. 8,300 BC to c. 4,500 BC).

An irregular knapped piece of blade-like debitage dated provisionally to the later Mesolithic period (6500-4500 BC). The debitage has a small area of cortex on the upper edge - suggesting that it has been struck from the outer edge of a core. One long edge has abrupt retouch applied with a hard hammer, although this may be a bi-product of movement within the ploughsoil. The blade measures 23.3mm length, is 13.5mm wide and 4.4mm thick; it weighs 1.27 grams.
