The flint has abrupt, scaled re-touch along its one straight edge and has also been worked around the possible V-shaped notch on the upper (as shown ) edge. A fragment of flint flake, possibly dating to the Neolithic period c. 4000 - 2500 BC. The flake is made from a tertairy flake of brown flint. The item is broken at the distal end, through the bulb of percussion leaving a sub-rectangular piece.  There may be some abrupt retouch on a small section of the ventral surface edge.  Removals from the dorsal surface could be the result of plough damage. Length: 17.7 mm Width: 13.4 mm Thickness: 4.4 mm Weight: 1.5 g
