A small flint flake, mottled grey-green in colour, with an isolated area of retouch on the ventral surface partly removing the bulb of percussion and possibly to aid hafting by creating a tang. The forward edge is sharp and has been formed by removal of a single flake, the left hand edge is smooth and may have been polished. A possible transverse arrowhead.

A complete Neolithic scraper made on a flake of mottled grey flint which is also partly comprised of a matt grey inclusion. The scraper is roughly triangular in shape and is gently domed in profile. The ventral surface is smooth with a distinctive, large flake scar (on the left hand side in the photo). The dorsal surface has 3 or 4 large flake scars and there are at least three areas of quite steep retouch on the edges. The flint is opaque. It is 31mm long, 27.5mm wide and 7mm thick. It weighs 7g.

A small chipped and polished Neolithic flint axehead with a sharp, curving blade and sides that taper towards the rounded butt, which has also been polished. In cross-section it is an irregular oval but with faceting where the chips haven't been polished out. The polishing is more pronounced towards the blade and butt. Complete but for 2 or 3 small chips out of the blade. The colour of the flint is mostly green (of several shades) but with patches of grey.

An incomplete late Neolithic oblique flint (ripple-flaked oblique) arrowhead. This arrowhead has been knapped from a fine good quality matt grey piece of flint. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan and lentoid in cross section; the tip, side barb and tang have all been lost; the breaks are recent and unabraded. A flint scraper formed on a piece of secondary debitage / waste flake (from the second phase of tool making). It is possible that the flake is a small bladelet taken from a Mesolithic core - as all the working is in the same direction; although the piece is too small to be diagnostic. A Neolithic date 2900 - 1800 BC may be suggested as similar dated debitage and tools have been found in the immidiate vicinity. Early Bronze Age flint barbed and Tanged arrowhead The arrowhead is incomplete, missing the tang (with a length of 21.7mm, a surviving width of 16.4mm, a thickness of 4.2mm and a weight of 1.2g). The arrowhead is bifacially worked, with extensive pressure flaking on the convex dorsal surface and with edge retouch (scaled and stepped) on the flat ventral surface. The dark-grey flint is non-cortical and largely unpatinated.

Later Neolithic flint arrowhead The arrowhead is incomplete (with a surviving length of 34.9mm, a basal width of 25.5mm, a maximum thickness of 4.2mm and a weight of 2.6g), missing a barb and appears to have been of oblique type The arrowhead is made on a partially patinated and non-cortical flint with the patination confined to the upper (tip) half. The arrowhead has been carefully and skilfully pressure-flaked on both faces but with more peripheral working on the ventral surface. The basal edge is retouched and gently concave.
