A discoidal flint flake of probable Neolithic date. There is a striking platform with a pronounced bulb of percussion to the ventral surface. The dorsal surface has numerous scars and ridges with some surface rippling. The material is a pale cream/grey flint.

A struck flint flake of irregular shape. This piece has a large bulb of percussion with surface ripples running down the ventral side. The dorsal side has a predominant single ridge and dorsal scarring to much of its surface. The material is a dark grey/brown flint.

Prehistoric retouched flint flake, probably of Neolithic date, (c. 4,000 - 2,000BC) The flake is made on non-cortical flint, patinated grey-white. The edges are damaged and possibly water-rolled but there is a small area of retouch surviving near the proximal end. Length - 33.8mm; width - 19.0mm, thickness - 6.1mm, weight - 3.7g

This is a piece of flint debitage that has some of the characteristics of having been struck by man, perhaps Neolithic in origin. That it has been struck by man is supported by a probable bulb of percussion to one side with dorsal scarring where previous material has been struck off the core. Additionally, there is the characteristic rippling, indicative of its removal from a core, by force. The material is of a dark brown colour.
