Two struck flint scrapers of Later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2900 - 1800 BC). The scrapers are sub circular in plan and oval in cross section. The dorsal (upper) faces demonstrates a significant number of flake scars, indicating that these pieces have been heavily worked / reworked. The ventral surfaces are smooth with the remains of the bulb of percussion and a few conchoidal ripples. The edges have been damaged by movement in the soil and there are a series of irregular uncontrolled flake scares. One of the scrapers has been broken approximately in half. Both would best be…

Relatively small flint thumbnail scraper (side and end) of probable later Neolithic - Early Bronze Age (3000-1800 BC), The flint is a pale brown pink colour with small a amount of white cortex on the upper / dorsal surface. There are signs of retouching on the edges of three sides - this retouch is best described as short sub-parallel, and abrupt. The scraper appears to be highly polished that suggests that it is a reworked flake from a larger implement, possibly an axe head. The scraper measures 20mm length, 14.2mm width and 6.5mm thick; it weighs 2.10 grams
