A Neolithic end and side scraper made on a tertiary flake. There is some recortication evident. Thin flakes have been removed at the distal end on the scraper with the retouch extending from the nose around the lateral edge, restricted to the dorsal surface only. There has been some attempt to remove the bulb on the ventral side. This scraper measures 34.68mm long, 29.36mm wide and is 11.54mm thick. It weighs 12.2gms.

A Neolithic end and side scraper made on a tertiary flake of grey-brown flint. Small flake removals and finishing retouch is restricted to the nose (distal) end and lateral edges of the dorsal surface only. The bulb and striking platform are retiained. This scraper measures 37.87mm long, 31.89mm wide and is 7.85mm thick. It weighs 11.8gms.

Three retouched bladelets, each with minimal retouch along one dorsal lateral - one flake has a slightly serrated edge. All have previous flake scar removals, while only one retains part of the bulb. All of these flakes probably date to the Neolithic period. They have a combined weight of 5.6gms.

A late Mesolithic to Neolithic saw / knife blade fragment made on a tertiary flake of a brown semi-translucent flint. The blade carries serrated retouch along one dorsal lateral with minimal retouch on opposite lateral. This blade appears to have broken in antiquity. The blade measures 24.79mm long, 16.47mm wide and is 4.33mm thick. It weighs 2gms.

A large sub-circular Mesolithic scraper. A thick orange and white patina covers a grey core on the ventral side, while the dorsal surface is completely covered in cortex (a primary flake). There is some evidence of limited recortication. The scraper measures 51.68mm long, 48.59mm wide and is 14.90mm thick. It weighs 47.5gms.

A secondary flake from a grey, semi translucent flint. Minimal retouch on lateral edges confined only to the dorsal surface. Part of the platformm and bulb are retained. This piece of flint is very curved, almost from a hinge fracture piece. This flake measures 47.64mm long, 21.77mm wide and is 4.95mm thick. It weighs 5.9gms.

A tertiary flake on a grey-brown semi translucent flint. The flake has minimal retouch around a small notch on both the dorsal and ventral side, and another small notch on the distal end of the flake, retouched on the dorsal side only. This flake measures 36.84mm long, 16.28mm wide and is 5.54mm thick. It is likely to date from the later Neolithic to Bronze Age (c. 2500 - 1500 BC).

A group of five struck flint flakes; two secondary and three tertiary. All but two retain the striking platform and the bulb - one example has had the bulb removed. Only one of the flakes appears to have any purposeful retouch to it, and this is very minimal. A couple of the flakes show recent damage, probably from ploughing. This assemblage is hard to date but is likely to date from the Neolithic to Bronze Age periods. All are what could be described as production flakes, apart from the single example with minimal retouch, which could have been an ad-hoc (non-formal) tool. The asse…

A end and side scraper made on a seconadry flake of a grey-brown semi translucent flint. The flake retains its bulb and platform, and the retouch is restricted to one lateral edge and part of the end of the dorsal side of the flake only. There is more modern damage evident on both the dorsal and ventral sides. This tool probably dates from the Late Neolithic to Bronze Age and measures 40.58mm long, 30.94mm wide and is 6.63mm thick. It weighs 11.3gms.

A Neolithic-early Bronze Age flint lithic implement: scraper (3500-1500BC). There are three flake removal scars from the dorsal surface and retouch around the curved distal edge. This is now obscured by damage. The flint has been burnt, creating a crazed, opaque white surface. Some iron staining is present.
