A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, probably Late Neolithic in date (based on the most similar examples in Bond (2004, 147; ref. 180). One barb is broken with the point missing. The tang is relatively thick (6.9mm) and appears off centre due to a small chip. The point of the head is also snapped off.

A small leaf-shaped flint arrowhead, with small amounts of iron stain forming on the dorsal side. There is some patina on the right side of the dorsal side. On the ventral side there is a completely flat face; there are three clear faces on the dorsal. The point is broken off and there is a small chip in the left cutting edge, when looking at the dorsal face. The very deliberate leaf shape leads to the conclusion that this is an arrowhead rather than a microlith, and the date of Later Neolithic is suggested by a similar example, albeit more damaged, in Bond (2004, 142; ref. F140).

An early Neolithic flint ogival leaf-shaped arrowhead. The arrow-head has the characteristic S-shaped profile. Both surfaces have been invasively retouched. There is some modern damage to the edges resulting in loss of material. Circa 4000-3000 BC. The flint is grey brown with an opaque patina forming on one surface. A late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead (circa 2,500-1,500 BC). There is some damage, one barb and part of the other and the tip of the tang is broken and missing. An early Neolithic leaf shaped arrowhead, kite shaped (after Green, Butler p123). The arrowhead is very fine and has been bifacially retouched. There is a small notch in one side which has also been retouched, suggested the damamge was caused during the production process and is not post-depositional damage. One end of the arrowhead has broken off and this is probably post-depositional damage. This arrowhead measures 23.95mm long, 13.62mm wide and is 3.48mm thick. It weighs 1.1gms.

A fragment of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. The arrowhead has been pressure flaked and invasively retouched on both sides to create a thin bi-convex lenticular cross-section. The original shape of the barb ends looks to have been square. The triangular tip and a large part of the tang are missing leaving around 70% of the arrowhead intact; a fact which precludes full classification of the piece. Similar arrowheads are shown in Butler.C; Prehistoric Flintwork (2005) p162-165 and are dated to circa 2500-1500 BC.

A late Neolithic – early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead (2500 – 1500BC). The arrowhead has been completely reduced on both ventral and dorsal surfaces. The ends of both barbs and the tip of the arrowhead are missing. A notch (length: 8.07mm) has been unifacially worked onto one side of the arrowhead. The flint is mottled mid/light brown/grey with a slight milky patina. Dimensions: length: 29.25mm; width: 19.18mm; thickness: 4.04mm; weight: 1.71g.

There are sections in the centre of both surfaces that have not been reduced. The tip of one end is missing, it is difficult to say if the damage is ancient or modern. Pale grey-brown flint.
