Five flint core fragments dating to the Mesolithic period (10,000-4001 BC). The cores are in varying states of preservation, with at least two showing modern plough damage. The removals are long and thin, typical of mesolithic microlith or bladelet production and are single platformed, with removal being taken from the same direction. All retain at least 10% coretx. The flints are all mottled blue-grey in colour.

A collection of eleven (11) core fragments, dating to the Mesolithic period (10,000-4001 BC). All the fragments are damaged, possibly during use but also by more modern elements such as ploughing. They may be rejuvination flakes, when a core was re-worked to achieve a better tablet to work from.
