Late Mesolithic to possile early Neolithic flint tranchet axehead or adze. Ovoid in shape. The flint is mid-orange to dark brown in colour with some superficial traces of cortex remaining and a few thin ribbons of quartz inclusions. Overall the item is in very good condition with no notable modern damage.
