A flint possible side-and-end scraper of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 4000 - 1600 BC). The scraper is struck off a tertiary flake and displays no remaining cortex, although there are off-white inclusions. The dorsal surface exhibits one negative flake scar at a right angle to the striking platform, indicating that the flake may have been struck off a multiple platform core. The scraper exhibits short scaled semi-abrupt retouch along the mesal and distal edges. The other mesel edge does not exhibit any retouch and appears to have been broken off. The scraper exhibits a large …

Three flint scrapers dating from the later Neolithic to Early/Middle Bronze Age (c. 2400-1600 BC). All three scrapers are made from a calcified blue-grey flint, all retain the platform and bulb. All have soft hammer retouch at the distal end and part way down both dorsal laterals, with one scrpaer being less reworked than the other two. The ventral surfaces are not retouched. These objects are part of a larger collection from what appears to be a multiphase site, with these scrapers being some of the later examples, most likely Early Bronze Age in date (c. 2350-1600 BC).

A collection of three poorly-executed flint scraper, dating from the Early to Middle Bronze Age. Two are made on secondary flakes while the third is made on a tertiary flake. All have hard hammer retouching at the dorsal distal end and some limited retouch down at least one lateral. The larger flake, or really a chunk, is the most crudely manufactured of the three. These objects are part of a larger collection from what appears to be a multiphase site.

A single flint scraper of possible Bronze Age date c. 2400-800 BC. The scraper is worked from a tertiary flake of medium brown grey flint whose surfaces has a white patch and occasional white inclusions. It has a glossy patina. The flake is an irregular pentagon in shape with a flat striking platform, one long straight side (on the left as seen from the dorsal side) and three more irregular angled edges. One of these angled edges has short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch along its length up to a break in the edge on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface also has five earlier…

A collection of three (3) flint scrapers of probable Early Bronze Age date (c. 2500-1600 BC). The scrapers are all broadly circular in plane with invasive, scaled yet expedient retouching between around 50%-90% of the edges. All three scrapers retain cortex; two are primary flakes with the third being secondary. Retouching has occured through the cortex in two examples. The flints vary in colour; light-dark grey; mottles yellow and grey; dark reddish brown.

A knapped flint scraper of probable Bronze Age date (c.2350-800 BC). The flint is dark grey but is completely re-corticated with a dense white patination. The dorsal surface exhibits multiple negative flake scars from previous removals from several different directions indicating a multi-platform core. The bulb of percussion on the ventral face has been almost removed and there are strong percussion ripples. There is also evidence of later plough damage resulting in sharp cuts and grooves. The retouch is relatively crude, sporadic and uneven which potentially identifies this as …

A flint side scraper probably dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age period c. 4000-1500 BC. The scraper is worked from a tertiary flake of speckled light brown, almost grey, flint with light grey splotches occasional orange discolouration and light brown section around its edges. It has a semi-glossy patna. The flake is sub-triangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross section. The striking platform survives as does a medium sized bulb of percussion with a a percussion (eraillure) scar from which conchoidal ripples emanate.  Two negative removal …

The scraper is pentagonal in plan and trapezoidal in cross section with the left and right edges angling outwards from the short proximal edge to the wider distal edge which is convex.
