A Mesolithic (probably) flint flake (8,300-4,500BC). The flake is a secondary flake with approximately 10% cortex remaining on the dorsal surface. Also on the dorsal surface there are two flake removal scars. Fine retouch has been worked unifacially from the dorsal surface 11.19mm along the right edge starting at the tip. The retouch may have extended further but damage has removed a section of the edge. The butt is also damaged and the bulb of percussion is no longer present. A Prehistoric flint flake. The flint is white-grey with small rust patches on the surface (possibly indicating the flint orignated in the Chilterns). There is an area of cortex present on the dorsal side that extends onto the butt. There are at least 3 clear flake scars on the ventral surface and a notch has been removed on the right side. There is some evidence of retouch within the notch. The flake has broken laterally and there is some modern edge damage.

Neolithic flint axe (3,500-2,100BC). Cream/pale grey flint with iron staining (this usually indicates the flint originated in the Chilterns). Two small areas of polishing, one on each side, but otherwise flake scars are present on all surfaces. The butt end is slightly rounded and the sides taper gradually before tapering in to the pointed opposite end.
