A flint blade, probably Neolithic in date due to its large size. The blade is triangular in section and curved slightly. It is patinated to a light grey colour but the flint has buff tones. There is retouch on the right edge at the proximal end which cuts through the patina, showing that the flint was flaked many years before it was retouched. The blade measures 62.2mm x 21.2mm x 5.5mm, weighing 9.49g.

The upper left edge of the dorsal face has invasive scaled retouch and the ventral face is plain. The surviving length is 15.2mm, the width is 19.3mm and the weight is 1.34g.

A flint retouched flake. It is 42.7mm in length, 21.1mm wide, and 8.7mm thick. It weighs 5.11gm. The tertiary flake has cortex surviving on the distal and of the dorsal face. There is a hinge termination at the distal end. There is very fine retouch on the proximal left side and possible blunting on the distal left side. A Neolithic date is most likely.

A Neolithic flint tool; a retouched blade which has been utilised for cutting. The flint is sub rectangular with abundant retouch on both sides and the distal end. The retouch is semi-abrupt. The blade has a double dorsal ridge which gives it extra strength. The distal end may have been used as a scraper, the edges were used for cutting, but the object is not a knife as there is no retouch on the ventral face. Denticulates have also been knapped on the left side which would allow the flint to be used for heavy duty cutting. These may have been a later addition. This multi purpose tool…

The ventral face has short-scaled retouch around the inside of the lower notch. The notches show that the flake may once have been a hafted tool. The length is 37.7mm, the width is 23.6mm, the thickness is 5.3mm and the weight is 3.41g.
