A flint microlith dating from the Late Mesolithic period. It is 29mm long, 8.9mm wide and 2.8mm thick. The flint is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. It is an example of a rod microlith. There is very fine retouch along both sides. The flint is mid grey with both white and dark grey inclusions. A slight patina has started to form.
