A small crudely formed, but elaborately finished Neolithic scraper. The scraper has a shallow plano-convex section, with one rounded side and one convex. The flint is an irregular shape. It has been formed from a mid greyish-brown flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform have both been removed, many flakes have been removed from the surfaces. The retouch is shallow and elaborate. There is no cortex on the scrapers surface.

Lithic implement, used for cutting or scraping. It is an irregular semi-circle with a protruding 'tang' at one end. Some retouching can be seen along some of the edges. It is made from a dark grey flint which has some white/cream patches in. Most likely from the Bronze Age period although it is hard to date single flint pieces when they are found out of context. A large, triangular, hollow-based, flint arrowhead of the late Neolithic period, 2500-2100BC. It is very large compared to the normal arrowhead of this period, being perhaps twice the usual size, and probably has ritual significance. It is 54.9mm long, 46.1mm wide, and 4.4mm thick. It weighs 9.04gm. A similar example is Butler, Prehistoric Flintwork, p. 161 No. 14. The arrowhead is formed on mottled grey flint and has semi invasive working mainly on one face.

Scrapers like this would have had many different functions in the Neolithic, as they were very useful tools, used for example for skinning animals, removing the fatty deposited from hinds and much more.

Flint flake with signs it had some work to try to make it into a leaf-shaped arrowhead. Neolithic to Bronze Age in date- c.3500- 1500 BC. It is made from a toffee coloured flint with some white inclusions. There is small piece of cortex still remaining on the upper left-hand corner (when viewing photograph). On the upper face there is an almost central ridge running from left to right, formed by two flakes having been taken off.

It is almost semi-circular in plan and is curved at the flat end. The curved edge appears to have some retouch although this is not extensive. Conchoidal ripples are visible from the flat base up towards the curved edge.
