A flint retouched medial blade fragment of broad Mesolithic/Neolithic date (9000-2200BC). It is greyish brown coloured flint, translucent around edges where thinner and not patinated. It is sub-rectangular in plan, and flat triangular in section. The tertiary flake has probable soft hammer working. There is a ridge along each side of the dorsal face. Both ends are snapped. There is very fine abrupt sub-parallel retouch on both sides with evidence of possible notch at the distal left hand corner. 18.2mm long, 15.9mm wide and 2.5mm thick. 0.7g.

It is formed on a blade of honey coloured, semi-translucent flint, which is sub-rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in section with a parallel double ridge on the dorsal face. It is a tertiary flake with short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch on the proximal end, and short, sub-pararllel, very fine, semi-abrupt retouch on the right side at the distal end. Blades have been removed from one end on all faces, and from a second striking platform adjacent to the first, suggesting that it may be Early Neolithic. An incomplete struck / knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the late Neolithic to the Middle Bronze Age, about 2400 BC to 1000 BC. The flint is an uneven grey colour, opaque and with little patina. The arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan with both barbs broken off and the central tang also broken and missing. The arrowhead is broadly lentoid in cross section. The flint is a tertiary flake with retouch which is covering, scaled and low angle on both ventral and dorsal faces.

An incomplete struck / knapped flint Group A microlith/blade dating from the early Mesolithic, approximately 9000 BC to 6500 BC. The flint is a mottled honey colour, opaque and with little patination. The microlith is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The flint is a tertiary flake. The proximal end appears to have been snapped, removing the bulb of percussion. There is very fine short abrupt sub parallel retouch on the distal left edge (and possibly further along this edge) and also on the proximal right edge.
