A complete flint flaked tranchet axehead of Mesolithic date. The flint is a dark to medium grey colour with light grey areas. This may be the result of plough damage. The axehead has an oval blade and a pointed butt end, with relatively heavy flaking one surface, while the other only has flakes on the lower half of the ae. it could be that the axe was not finished, pooibly becuase of flaws in the flin. It measures 104.1 in length, 43.2mm in width, 34.2mm in thickness, and weighs 190.2g. This axehead is of Mesolithic date.

A Palaeolithic sub-cordate handaxe, knapped from dark grey flint. Flakes have been removed from both surfaces to shape the axe. The axe appears unfinished on one side, where the flint is a paler grey. It is an elongated oval in plan, tapering towrd a pointed cutting end. It has an elongated lenticular cross section with pointed edges. The edges of the axe are damaged and worn. The surfaces of the axe are a dark grey with pale grey cortext where present. The axe is 21.8mm long, 91.2mm wide, 47.3mm thick and weighs 520 grams.
