A flint discoidal 'thumbnail' scraper dating to the Neolithic to Bronze Age period (c. 3000-800). Formed on a primary flake of opaque orangish-brown flint. The bulb of percussion is clear on the ventral face with no apparent ripples. Parts of the cortex are apparent at the proixmal and distal ends on the ventral face. The dorsal face is mostly covered with cortex, though a small section at the distal end shows evidence of retouch. The removals are mainly long, scaled and done at a low angle.
