Notched/Spurred piece
Made on an irregularly fractured fragment of poor quality light grey cherty flint, 34mm long, 35mm wide and 12mm thick. A notch has been created on one edge by a single steep flake removal. The inside of the notch has then been shaped by fine retouch. There are no visible signs of use wear in the notch. Removal of the notch has also created a ‘spur’ at one side which has some possible use edge chipping.
