Weathered opposed platform flint core of early neolithic date. The upper striking platform is irregular in shape and measures 32.7mm long by 29.1mm wide, whilst the lower platform is also irregular and measures 19.6mm long by 16.5mm wide. The core is 27.1mm high and has four vertical flake removal scars, covering an area 26.4mm wide. The rest of the perimeter of the core has not been worked and it seems likely that this was a waste core, deemed unsuitable for blade production. Weight = 35.04g.
