A distal fragment of a knapped and pressure flaked knife likely dating to the Early Bronze age. The flake is made from a distal portion of a cortical flake of semi translucent unpatinated grey flint. The dorsal surface bears patches of cortex and invasive pressure flaking removal scars. The ventral surface blade edges have also been retouched to form the point and even, carefully shaped sides. The knife has a transverse diagonal break at the proximal end. The invasive pressure flaked retouch suggests an early bronze-age date. The cross section of the blade is plano-convex, suggesting …
