Knapped flint flake with a notch. The flake is a sub-rectangle in plan. The dorsal surface has vertical slender negative scars. Along a lateral edge re-touch has occurred on the dorsal surface forming a notch. The ventral surface has ripples from striking. The flint is a brown. The flake measures 37.14mm long and 16.81mm wide. It weighs 4.1g.
Butler (Butler, C. 2005 Prehistoric Flintwork Tempus p. 54) comments that notched pieces are found throughout history, but are not a common tool. This flake probably dates to the Neolithic to early Bronze Age period (-3500 to -1500).

A knapped flint scraper. The flint is an opaque brown colour. In plan it is a sub-rectangle shape. The dorsal face (the face with the most scars) has two vertical negative scars and has retouch around the side and lower edge, the upper edge is a recent broken edge. The retouch is formed by long, narrow parallel negative scars. The ventral face (smooth face) has some retouch, concentric rings and more recent damage. The scraper is 38.39mm long and is 25.08mm wide. It weighs 5.5g.
The scraper is probably an end scraper dating to the Neolithic period, c. 3500 to c. 2100 B.C.

Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c.2700 BC to c.1000 BC) probable plano-convex knife: The knapped flint knife is an elongated pointed sub-oval, with a D-shaped cross section. The dorsal surface has sub-parallel and scaled invasive retouch. The retouch is semi-abrupt at a low angle on the dorsal surface. Along both lateral edges the edge is serrated in an irregular manner.
