Early Neolithic flint blade. The blade is trapezoidal in shape and in cross-section. 2 flakes have been knapped from one face, one on each side. One edge of the tool has been worked to give it a serrated edge. The tool has broken and so is incomplete- it would have been longer when it was made.

Flint thumbnail scraper from the Bronze Age, dating to c.2000BC. The scraper is broadly circular in plan and semi-circular in section. The rounded face has lots of small flakes taken off. The flatter face has the scar from just one flake. There is some evidence for retouching around the edges. It is made from a greyish/brown flint.

Complete flint blade of probable later Mesolithic date (6500BC - 3500BC). The flint tool is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and cross section. It is much thicker than most blades and the two long edges taper to a blunted point. The bulb of percussion is lost. The two long sides and the lower end of the blade have been retouched / reworked. The retouch is extensive on both long edges where both pressure and direct knapping have been used. Small thumbnail scraper dating to the early Bronze Age, (2150-1500BC). The object is a pointed oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The dorsal side has been worked and contains many facet and ridges. The outer edges have been retouched on each side of the implement. One half of the ventral side is flat and smooth while the other has been worked also. Bi-facial working is unusual for thumbnail scrapers so it was possibly being converted into another object such as an arrowhead also. The object is a clear, light brown in colour with a grey tip.

Medium brown flint, dark brown at the distal end, with white mottling. Just over 4 centimeters long, 1.2 centimeters at its widest. Some cortex left on the distal end and a few negatives of previously knapped-off bits on the dorsal face (including one negative of a bulb and compression rings from a previous flake near the striking platform). A few small retouches on the sharp sides. Plump bulb with close and clearly visible compression rings. Eraillure on the bulb, flake triangular in section.

Flint flake which is irregular in shape. Both the bulb of percussion and ripples are visible. Large chips have been broken from the edges and it has not been retouched. It has been struck irregularly with a very hard blow, and this along with the 'crushed' edges indicates that the flake may have been struck in modern times. It has a smooth mid-grey patina.
