A complete late Neolithic (2500-2100) 'British Oblique' flint arrowhead, with the 'tail' extended to form a long tang. The flint is light brownish grey in colour with white to one side of the dorsal (upper) face. The dorsal face has been extensively worked. The ventral (lower) face is smooth with visible ripples. Retouching is visible along all the edges. The tip of the arrowhead is complete. The top of the 'tail' or tang measures 16.60 x 7.28mm.

Flint blade with notch toward proximal end. Hinge fracture at distal end. Pale grey flint. The edge opposite the notch has been deliberatly blunted by retouching at a steep angle to facilitate comfortable use.

A flint core dating to the Prehistoric period, (8300-800BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. On the dorsal face three parallel blades have been removed. A large bulb of percussion on the ventral face indicates that the object was struck with a hard hammer. At the proximal end the striking platform measures 18.22mm in width and is 6.33mm thick. A flint barb and tanged arrowhead of Early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead is triangular in plan and lozenge shaped in cross-section. Two notches chipped into the base of the flint separates the barbs and the tang. The arrowhead is bificially worked with covering, scaled, low angle retouch. The arrowhead has been made on a mid-grey piece of flint and there is no cortex remaining. The object dates to the Early Bronze Age or Beaker period, 2400-1600BC.
