A re-touched flint flake tool of probable Neolithic or Bronze Age date. At the proximal end, the flake retains a portion of the flat core platform. One of the vertical edges is straight, whilst the other is convex and irregular. The dorsal surface exhibits rippling and two vertical flake removal scars; the ventral surface has a clear bulb-of-percussion and rippling. A bifacial flint knife of Neolithic to Bronze Age date. It is discoidal in form with a striking platform at the proximal end that retains its cortex, and a blade that curves to a rounded point at the distal end. Both faces of the knife have extensive flaking and edge retouch, particularly along the edge of the blade. One face has a dark grey patina, whilst the other has a much paler grey/white patinated surface. It measures 74.19mm in length, 40.92mm in width, 8.74mm in thickness, and weighs 26.29g.
