Record ID: GLO-98D2C3
Object type: BLADE
Broad period: NEOLITHIC
County: Bath and North East Somerset
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
Two faces on the obverse one of which is narrow (6mm wide) and very steep, both side have a large amount of detailed pressure flaked retouch. One face on the reverse. There is a considerable amount of damage to the lower section with two large flakes removed, mainly due to frost damage. This has resulted in the artefact looking like a Bronze Age bared and tanged arrowhead, however the true nature of the artefact may be a knife or a retouched flake.
