A good example of a late Neolithic to early Bronze Age 'horseshoe' type flint scraper. From the flat platform area at the top, the sides angle downwards, creating a roughly trapezoidal top section; the lower two thirds of the implement have rounded edges. A good example of a flint 'thumbnail' type scraper of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. At the top, the implement retains a portion of the flat core platform.
