Elongated, tertiary long blade, of mottled mid-grey flint now patinated a sandy yellow colour with a patch towards the proximal end that appears to be unpatinated. Several small chips to the thin edges are recent damage, also showing the original colour of the flint. The high points to the flake scars are abraded, these show an off-white, almost powdery patination below. Proximal end and platform absent; broken at an angle in antiquity. Large and almost complete adze, of triangular cross section, in rolled condition. The flint has patinated a dark brown colour with the coarse inclusions now a lighter brown, the edges have crumbled due to the flint re-corticating and turning chalky underneath the brown patination, showing as a white grainular surface. The damage to the cutting edge shows the core of the flint is still intact under the thick chalky degradation and a patch of good quality dark grey flint inside. Complete single platform core made from a small nodule of water worn flint. The unworked section of the flint is rounded, and the cortex is weathered and thin with rusty iron streaks from contact with agricultural machinery. One end of the nodule is struck off at an oblique angle by a hammer stone to provide the platform for flake/small blade removals from one face, several rows of these have been struck in sequence; the distal end of the removals must have had a small amount of cortex left on them from the core. A complete flint Axehead of Early Neolithic date (3500-2500 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in plan, long and narrow with a slightly wider blade end. The lithic is bi-convex in section creating an ovate cross. An assemblage of 7 incomplete struck flint blades (debitage) representing multiple periods of activity from the Mesolithic to early Neolithic periods c. 9000 BC - 3300 BC. The core is conical with a single hard hammered striking platform with a pronounced bulb of percussion and a large area of cortex remaining. There are four unidirectional long blade removals around the core,two with hinged terminations.  The flint is transluscent grey in colour.
