An incomplete flint arrowhead of the barbed and tang type, dating from the later Neolithic to early Bronze Age. (BC2700-1000). Probably a Beaker Type, 'Sutton b' (See: Green 1980, Fig 45h). The arrrowhead is sub triangular in shape with slightly convex sidesone barb is incomplete.Both faces have been worked with covering, scaled and low-angle retouch.One surface is more convex due to the working of the flint.The core of the flint is of a dark grey colouring with some almost white patches. A flint core of probable late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, circa 2500 - 1500 BC. The core is sub-triangular in plan, with an irregular cross section It is pale grey in colour with paler inclusions. There is a triangular patch of buff coloured cortex to the ventral side. Both the dorsal and ventral sides have numerous flakes removed from a number of different striking platforms and percussion points. Length 25.3mm, width 22.8mm, thickness 11.1mm, weight 8.4g. ​The item has some similarities with: WILT-C5E5FC

An incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating to the Early Bronze Age, c. 2500 to 1500 BC. The object is triangular in plan with two notches removed from one side to create the barbs and tang although on barb has broken off. The spur from the broken barb appears to have been retouched. Invasive, scaled retouch at a low angle present on both sides of the object. The flint is mottled white and grey. The object is 19.46 mm in length 18.19 mm wide and 3.86 mm thick. The object weighs 1.0g.

A knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of the Bronze Age. The arrowhead is triangular in shape with barbs and a tang. The barbs are squarish as is the tang. The width across the shoulders of the barbs is 30.52mm. The length from tip to tang end is 39.23mm. The body of the arrowhead is 5.09mm in thickness. The tang is 8.8mm thick and the barbs are 6.75mm thick. The edge shows very regular pressure flaking, and the arrowhead is in excellent condition as well as being made of a good quality flint.
