A Mesolithic tranchet axe. This axe is made out of ochre-coloured flint and has been bifacially worked. It now has a thick black covering following its depostion in a stream bed. The butt appears to have been broken diagonally. From the same findspot is a grey and glossy secondary flake with remaining cortex. There appears to be some secondary working along one long side. (46.39 x 26.42 x 6.58mm. Wt 7.42g.)

A Mesolithic tranchet axe 'Thames pick'. There is crude flake removal on the dorsal face. There is a prominent rib down the center of the convex dorsal face flattening at the distal end. The ventral face is generally flat but with a tranchet blow across the flint at the distal end. The axe is widest at near the distal end, tapering sharply on the dorsal face. A complete worked flint pick of Neolithic date. The pick has been formed on a nodule of mottled grey/white flint with iron staining evident of the crests of the removals. The flint has been bifacially worked. The tip of the is worked and rounded. The butt is flat. The edges are generally straight and parallel, however, one edge is curved toward the butt end. The dorsal face is convextly curved. The ventral face is flat.

A possible Neolithic serrated implement, dating to c. 4500-1500 BC. Flint, mottled white and grey surface with occasional orangy spots, near the platform edge is a darker grey. Sub triangular shaped. Pronounced bulb of percussion on the ventral face suggesting a hard hammer, defined ripple marks across the surface. Retouch creating a serrated edge on both sides, 5 teeth per cm. Length: 62.9mm, width: 30.9mm, thickness: 8.2mm, weight: 12.21g.

A possible flint scraper of uncertain date, possibly Late Neolithic to early Bronze Age (c.3300BC - 1000BC). The scraper is irregularly shaped but with a long rounded edge. The scraper is plano-convex in shape. The ventral face is unworked with a large bulb of percussion. The dorsal face is worked with invasive scaled semi-abrupt retouch. The majority of the edge has short, scaled semi-abrupt retouch The flint is an opaque light white-grey with patches of cream white throughout. The scraper is 29.1mm in length, 37mm in width, 7.7mm in thickness, and weighs 9.03g.

A flint scraper of probably dating to the Mesolithic period (c.9000-3450 BC). The scraper has been formed from a tertiary light grey flint flake. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. The ventral face has a flat striking platform at the proximal end with a shallow bulb of percussion. The dorsal face has one prominent central ridge. There is short, low-anlge retouch on all sides of the flint as well as a couple of small flakes removed from the dorsal face.

A Late Neolithic flint plano-convex knife dating to c.3300-2200 BC. The knife is opaque and grey-coloured, and sub-oval in shape. The distal end is the narrowest point and is slightly rounded. The dorsal face is flaked with short stepped semi-abrupt retouch on the surface. The edges have short stepped low angle retouch. The ventral face is smooth with the bulb of percussion at the proximal end. The knife is 36mm in length, 17.5mm in width, 7.4mm in thickness, and weighs 4.22g.

A Mesolithic-Neolithic flint flake with ?a small area of retouch (8,300-2,100BC). Pale-mid mottled grey flint. This is a tertiary flake with several flake removal scars on the ventral surface although some of these are probably modern damage. There is also damage to the butt and the tip; the bulb has been knocked off and there is crushing around the edges, all modern damage. There are two possible zones of retouch on the left side near the distal end. The retouch is quite find and worked at a steep angle. Dimensions: length: 32.36mm; width: 22.33mm; thickness: 5.17mm; weight: 3.07g.

A complete knapped flint laurel leaf knife dating to the Neolithic period, c. 4000 - 2200 BC. The knife is leaf shaped and oval in cross-section. It is bifacially worked with covering, scaled and low angle retouch. One edge has prominent scaled retouch. The other edge is highly worn. The flint has a grained greyish colour with patinated white surface. There are also sporadic dark brown specs on both sides. The knife is 93.1mm in length, 34.5mm in width, 8.1mm in thickness, and weighs 30.52g.
