An irregular knapped piece of blade-like debitage dated provisionally to the later Mesolithic period (6500-4500 BC). The debitage has a small area of cortex on the upper edge - suggesting that it has been struck from the outer edge of a core. One long edge has abrupt retouch applied with a hard hammer, although this may be a bi-product of movement within the ploughsoil. The blade measures 23.3mm length, is 13.5mm wide and 4.4mm thick; it weighs 1.27 grams.

Snapped knapped flint blade of probable later Mesolithic or earlier Neolithic date (4500 – 3500 BC). The flint is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and lentoid in cross section. The ventral (reverse) face has a distinct bulb of percussion and conchoidal fractures; a slight striking platform is present on the heel of the flake. The dorsal face show several flake scars. There is a little abrupt retouch to the long edges on the dorsal face, although this could easily be caused in the ploughzone through tumble. A small flint scraper / side scraper formed on a secondary flake probably dating from the earlier Neolithic (3500-2500 BC). The scraper is formed on a pointed oval shaped flake which is D shaped in cross section. The ventral (lower) face shows conchoidal ripples and the bulb and point of percussion from a prepared distal platform. The dorsal face has a number of irregular and regular flake scars from previous flake removals and a large area of mid grey cream coloured cortex.
