A probable prehistoric core trimming flake. The find is roughly triangular with a white, yet heavily worn patina. This would indicate that the find has been exposed for some time, likely eroding out of the soil. The flint is truncated at the distal end and probably would have originally extended to a point. The flake has a visible bulb of percussion.

A probable prehistoric flint flake, possibly dating to the Neolithic period. The flake is a mixture of light and dark reddish browns in colour. There is evidence of the cortex along one edge. The flake is retouched, with apparent earlier blade/flake removals evident on the dorsal face. The bulb of percussion is visible, although it is difficult to identify any concentric waves along the ventral face which may indicate it is of natural origin. A sub-triangular, barbed and tanged flint arrowhead. The arrowhead is quite crude in form. It is manufactured from a mainly opaque mid greenish brown flint but with a band of white around the point, and the tip of the point is translucent orange. The extreme tip of the point appears to have broken off in antiquity. One face of the arrowhead is very slightly concave, the other is very slightly convex. A small lithic implement of uncertain date. The flint is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section with an inverted triangular shaped profile. The ventral (lower) face is smooth with a few ripples and a low bulb of percussion. The dorsal (upper) face is faceted due to the removal of several possible blades. Semi-prismatic core. The flint is generally a mid-grey in colour, but one face appears to have developed a slight white patina suggesting this may have been an original 'natural' surface of the flint pebble prior to working. The other face has areas of rusty brown staining which may be iron oxide deposits from the soil.
