An incomplete flint arrowhead of the barbed and tang type, dating from the later Neolithic to early Bronze Age. (BC2700-1000). Probably a Beaker Type, 'Sutton b' (See: Green 1980, Fig 45h). The arrrowhead is sub triangular in shape with slightly convex sidesone barb is incomplete.Both faces have been worked with covering, scaled and low-angle retouch.One surface is more convex due to the working of the flint.The core of the flint is of a dark grey colouring with some almost white patches. A flake of flint debitage of uncertain age but possible Mesolithic to Bronze Age date (9000 to 2200 BC). This is a flake of semi-translucent grey flint with white inclusions and a light patina. It is sub-triangular in shape and sub-triangular in cross section. The dorsal surface has three flake removal scars with conchoidal ripples that indicate that they were struck from the pointed end making this the proximal end. The distal end has been snapped off and the lack of patina at this end would indicate this was done at a later date. The original flake would therefore have been longer.…

A flint blade of possible Mesolithic to early Neolithic date (9000 to 3300 BC). The object is dark grey semi-translucent flint with a light covering patina. It is sub-retangular in shape and sub-triangular in cross section. It is a secodary working with 15% cotec running centrally along the dorsal face. The dorsal face has one long flake removal scarrunning half the length and ending in a hinge fracture. The right hand edge has long,parallel,low angle retouch along its length.
