A flake of flint debitage of uncertain age but possible Mesolithic to Bronze Age date (9000 to 2200 BC). This is a flake of semi-translucent grey flint with white inclusions and a light patina. It is sub-triangular in shape and sub-triangular in cross section. The dorsal surface has three flake removal scars with conchoidal ripples that indicate that they were struck from the pointed end making this the proximal end. Teardrop in plan, concavo convex in section, tapers to a point with a projecting ridge along the dorsal face. 30% or the surface is cortex therefore a secondary flake. On the distal face there is a prominent bulb of percussion and some bulbar scarring. The dorsal faces have scaled flaking with short semi-abrupt scaled retouch.25% of the right hand end towards the proximal end has short abrupt retouching. There is evidence of burin spall removal from a retouch platform around the point indicating a truncation burin.
