A retouched tertiary flake of dark grey brown flint, probably of later Neolithic to Bronze Age date. The flake is trapezoidal with a projecting point on one corner of the distal edge. This edge has short abrupt retouch along its length with what appears to be a small burin removal at the tip of the point to refine it for use as a piercing or engraving tool.

Almost complete barbed and tanged arrowhead of Green. H, S, (1980) type Sutton b, closest in outline to examples i and j (page 122, fig. 45), of off-white patinated flint with the numerous small inclusions within the flint a mid-grey colour, one face has three small spots of rusty iron, probably from contact with agricultural machinery. One barb is nearly complete; possibly the tiny tip is missing, the other barb is chipped at the tip, this is an ancient break as one of the iron stains is on the surface of the break, the tang is broken obliquely but would have been little longer than t…

A flint coarse-scraper possibly of very Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 2400 - 1600 BC). The object is made from a light brown opaque flint. Almost the entire surface of the flint is covered with a white patina where recortication has occurred. There are also spots of orange iron staining too. However, the distal end of the scraper is stained neither white nor orange, and shows the original colour of the flint. The object is a roughly semi-circular shape and has been manufactured from a tertiary flake of flint. On the ventral surface of the flake there is conchoidal …

A barbed and tanged arrowhead, formed by knapping. It is made of a pale semi- transluscent flint with some inclusions. It is slightly flatter on one side then the other, and the tip of one of the barbs is missing. Having been found near a beach it has been worn so no sharp edge remains, but the shape is consistent. Arrowheads such as these, see also NMGW-24C12C, are classified as Sutton Type B (Green 1980) are commonly associated with the emergence of the Beaker phenomenon in Britain. Dimensions: It is 21mm long and 16mm wide, it weighs 1.53g

A small flint tabular bladelet core of later prehistoric / Bronze Age date struck from a grey flint with white patination / re-cortication from deposition in calcareous sediments. There appears to be a single striking platform, with parallel removal scars around approximately half of the circumference. Some of these are partially patinated and some break the patination, suggesting several phases of use and re-use.
