A complete knapped gun-flint from a flintlock musket of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1900. The gunflint is broadly rectangular in plan and is of the classic wedge shape. Short scaled semi-abrupt retouch is present. No striking platform is present. The flint is dark grey mottled through to light grey in colour. Palaeolithic flint hand axe, 61mm long, 48mm wide and 18mm thick. The axe is in good condition and made from brown flint, with some re-cortication, and weighs 51.26 grams. The axe is bi-facially worked and has a plano-convex cross section. It has a scraper edge, a damaged cutting edge and a curved chopping edge. Dr Kevin Leahy writes: this object appears to be a Middle Palaeolithic 'bout coupe'' handaxe and is therefore of some interest.

Paleolithic flint burin, 45mm long and 13mm wide and 4mm thick. The object has a grey patina and weighs 2.84grams. It is largely rectangular in form and produced using a secondary flake with working on the upper face. It has been shaped at one end with a few careful strikes to produce a diagonally positioned edge with a sharp pointed projection at its upper edge.

Neolithic? flint scraper, 69mm long, 47mm wide and 18mm thick. The object is in good condition with a greyish patina and weighs 46.17 grams. The scraper is 'leaf shaped' with a wide rounded lower edge containing a bulb of percussion and a smaller rounded worked end. It is finely worked just on the rounded tip, with deep removals. the object is heavily recorticated however, which indicates an early date.

Late Neolithic flint axe, 120mm long, 57mm wide and 24mm thick. The object is in good condition with small amounts of damage to its edges. The axe is made from brown flint, common in Leicestershire and has small patches of original surface still showing. It has a flat butt end and its sides are slightly waisted and splay towards a rounded tip. It is quite thick in section in the area towards its centre and near to the blade end.
