A flint end scraper dating from the Mesolithic or Neolithic period (10,000 BC - 2,350 BC). The scraper is sub-rectangular in plan and D shaped in section. It is a secondary flake of translucent light brown flint (probably Yorkshire Wolds flint) with cortex surviving on the right side of the dorsal face. The flint is not patinated. There is long, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch at the distal end extending onto the the distal left side, and possible very fine short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch along the rest of the left side, though this may be edge damage.
