The flint shows evidence of water rolling.
The object was found in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, and was likely to have been picked up on or near the coast. There are concentrations of beach peb…

Object type: BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD
Broad period: BRONZE AGE
County: Carmarthenshire
Workflow stage: Published
Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. The sides are somewhat rounded and the barbs and tang are squared, suggesting the arrowhead to be a Sutton b type (Green 1980). The arrowhead has lost its tip in antiquity, possibly as a result of impact through use. The flint is brown, probably of beech pebble flint and is unpatinated.
