There is one main flat striking platform which has evidence of platform dressing to the edges, however there is evidence that removals have also taken place from the opposing end of the core. Group A type flint microlith of Early Mesolithic date (9000 - 8000 BC). The flint is an opaque, light grey coloured tertiary flake. It is pointed in plan and sub-triangular in section. There is abrupt, short, sub-parallel, soft hammer retouch to the right hand side towards the sharply pointed distal end. All the retouch has been carried out from the dorsal face of the flint. It is 32.3mm long x 7.3mm wide x 2.7mm thick. Weight .61g.
