A flint scraper of probable Neolithic to Bronze Age date, circa 4000 - 801 BC. The scraper is struck from a secondary flake and retains c.10% cortex. The ventral face exhibits invasive, parallel, semi-abrupt retouch around the distal end and down the mesal sides. There is no bulb of percussion. There is a striking platform present at the proximal end. The dorsal face has negative flake scars from previous flake removal, as well as possible retouch along one mesal edge. The flint is light to mid grey in colour with white inclusions. The scraper measures 57.19mm in length, 53.63mm in wi…

A flint scraper of probable Neolithic to Bronze Age date, circa 4000 - 801 BC. The scraper is struck from a secondary flake and retains c.40% cortex. The ventral face exhibits invasive, parallel, semi-abrupt retouch along both distal edges. There is no bulb of percussion. There is a worn striking platform present at the proximal end. The dorsal face is almost entirely covered entirely in cortex, aside from the mesal edges which exhibit possible retouch. The flint is dark grey in colour with light grey inclusions.
