A complete flint flaked tranchet axehead of Mesolithic date. The flint is a dark to medium grey colour with light grey areas. This may be the result of plough damage. The axehead has an oval blade and a pointed butt end, with relatively heavy flaking one surface, while the other only has flakes on the lower half of the ae. it could be that the axe was not finished, pooibly becuase of flaws in the flin. It measures 104.1 in length, 43.2mm in width, 34.2mm in thickness, and weighs 190.2g. This axehead is of Mesolithic date.

A flint tranchet adze of probable Early Mesolithic date, c 9000-8000 BC . The implement is parallel-sided along most of its length, slightly tapering at the top. The adze is of irregular oval cross section. On either side of the axe the flake removal scars angle downwards from the broad, roughly defined central ridge. The removal of the transverse sharpening flake has created a steep, wedge-like blade. The surface of the flint is mottled, light grey to creamy-white in colour. Lithic scraper of early Bronze Age date: the classic invasively retouched thumbnail scraper. This scraper is not contemporary with the other lithic material recovered from this area. The scraper has covering removals across the entire surface of the dorsal face. The dark grey flint is unpatinated and has some post-depositional damage due to agricultural activity (chipped edges). A fragment of flint sickle dating to the early Bronze Age c. 2500 -1500 BC. Description: The sickle fragment remains roughly triangular with a tab at the wider end. Both edges have fine retouched serration and the retouch is scaled low angled and covering. It is dark black in colour with some white recortication beginning to occur. The upper / dorsal face of the scraper exhibits a central ridge with evidence of other flake scars, The lower / ventral surface has evidence remains of both the bulb and waves of percussion and striking platform. There appears to be evidence of retouch along the edge of the scraper. The scraper is 34.4mm long, 24.2mm wide, 7.6mm thick and weighs 7.88 grams.

The dorsal surface retains some of the original cortex. The flint is light to dark gray and is not very opaque. It is 69.02 mm L x 33.76 mm W x 16.04 mm TH. It weighs 32.6 g.
